CSIO holds interactive session with students in Chandigarh

From an exhibition, to quiz to poster-making competition and essay and slogan writing on the theme 'Renewable Energy' was also held

Interactive session of ‘Faculty Training and Motivation Programme’ of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) was held for students of Government High School, Sector 53, Chandigarh, on Tuesday.

The programme was funded by Human Resource Department Group, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Delhi, and was organised in order to re-energize teachers and expose them to different fields of ongoing research. Dr HK Sardana, Chief Scientist, CSIR-CSIO presided as the chief guest along with members of school management committee who were present on the occasion.

From an exhibition, to quiz to poster-making competition and essay and slogan writing on the theme ‘Renewable Energy’ was also held, which saw participation of students from Class VI to X. Dr Sardana made students aware about Renewable energy sources and encouraged them to save energy for future generations while Kuldeep Kaur, school Headmistress highlighted the importance of renewable energy to the students and also thanked the CSIO team for their help.
