SEBA HSLC results 2016: SEBA (Secondary Education Board of Assam) has released Class 10 result on May 31, 2016 by 11 am. The exam was conducted between February 19 and March 12.

About 2.39 lakh students have passed the examination, among whom 54,197 secured first division, 96,568 second division and 88,849 third division. The total number of candidates who had taken the exam stood at 3,81,585.

As per the latest notification, the Board will not publish the result at resultsassam.nic.in. 

 

The HSLC exam was in news when 5,000 to 10,000 answer sheets were gutted in a major fire that broke out in a evaluation centre in Jorhat in upper Assam on March 3. The state government ordered a CID inquiry into the incident.

The board conducted the examination from February 19 to March 12, 2016.

In 2015, about 3.8 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exam out of which 51,046 secured the first division while the overall pass percentage was recorded as 62.20%.

Visit the official website. Click on results Enter your hall ticket number. The result will be displayed on the screen
Take a print out.

SEBA is the only authority in the state that has all the rights to take hold of the secondary level examinations in the state.The class 10th examinations are conducted by the board every year to all the registered and the eligible students and those who pass the examinations, the board awards them “High School Leaving Certificate”.
