Andhra Pradesh APPSC recruitment 2016: Candidates can apply online through the official website of the APPSC, psc.ap.gov.in by registering through the OTPR.

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has invited applications for recruitment for the post of Assistant Executive Engineers in various Engineering services for 748 vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website of the APPSC website.

Vacancies:
AEE (Civil) in AP PH & ME Department: 56 posts
AEE (Civil/Mechanical) in AP Tribal Welfare Engineering Department: 41 posts
AEE (Civil) in AP Water Resources Department: 473 posts
AEE (Mechanical) in AP Water Resources Department: 63 posts
AEE (Civil/Mechanical) in AP Panchayat Raj Engineering Service: 113 posts
AEE (Mechanical/Agricultural) in AP Ground Water Department: 02 posts

Total number of vacancies: 748

Pay scale: Rs 37,100 to Rs 91,450

Age limit:
Minimum age as on July 1, 2016: 18 years
Maximum age as on July 1, 2016: 40 years

Important dates:
Application process begins: August 18, 2016
Last date of application process: September 21, 2016
Last date of online fee payment: September 21, 2016 (upto 11:59 pm)
Tentative date of exam: November 3, 2016 – November 5, 2016

Admit card: Can be downloaded seven days before date of exam

How to apply:
Log on to the official website of the commission, psc.ap.gov.in
On the right hand side of the page, click on “One Time Profile Registration”. Candidates must note that they can register on the website only once.
You will be redirected to a new page where you have to choose between “Direct Recruitment” or “Departmental Test”. If you are unsure about which one to choose, click on the “OTPR User Manual” on the same page.
Complete the instructions. When the form appears, fill in your details. This will take some time so keep all your documents ready.
Upload a copy of your photograph and your signature. Remember to refer to the file specifications given above the upload box
Click on “accept” and preview your information. Make any changes if you have to. If everything is correct, click on submit.
A user ID will be generated which will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID. Use this OTPR user ID to apply for the posts on the official website of the Commission.

Fee payment:
Application processing fee: Rs 250
Examination fee: Rs 120

Candidates need to pay both these fees. However, candidates falling under these categories are exempt from paying the examination fee of Rs 120:
a) SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Service Men.
b) Families having household supply White Card issued by Civil Supplies Department, A P
Government (for residents of Andhra Pradesh)
c) Un-employed youth in the age group of 18 to 40 years as per G.O.Ms.No. 439,
G.A.(Ser.A) Dept.
(Applicants belonging to the categories mentioned above (except PH & Ex-Service Men) hailing from other states are not entitled for exemption from payment of fee and not entitled for claiming any kind of reservation.)

How to pay fee:
Candidates can pay the fee through net banking, credit card or debit card as well as AP online centres. No IPO’s or demand drafts will be accepted.

Candidates can register online only. Hand written, typed, photostat copies or application forms printed from elsewhere will not be accepted and will be rejected.
