A woman was found dead on Saturday along with her paramour who is suspected to have murdered her and later committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan at Chandan Nagar lodge.

Yerawada police identified them as Manisha Arun Thorat (26),a resident of Chandan Nagar, and Baban Laxman Purushottam (22),who was originally from Partur in Akola district and was running a paan shop in Ranjangaon.

Police said on Friday the duo checked into the lodge on Nagar Road claiming to be husband and wife. They told the manager that they will check-out on Saturday morning. The lodge staff sensed something wrong when the duo did not answer their calls in the morning. The staff called up the police who broke open the door.
