Having patched up with her mentor Mahesh Bhatt,Bipasha Basu has begun shooting for Raaz 3 along with Emraan Hashmi. What makes the casting interesting is that Basu, who had moved on from Bhatts unique genre of cinema that is high on sex and crime,is back where she started. No more among the most desirable Bollywood actresses,it is possibly a move to connect with the masses. We are curious to watch how the pair will look on-screen notwithstanding these first looks where the two seem awkward together.
The latest member of the film fraternity who has decided to turn producer is Abhinay Deo. Ever since Delhi Belly was declared a hit, this adman-turned-filmmaker was conspicuous by his absence in the filmy circuit. The director says he has been preparing to shoot the Indian adaptation of 24,Anil Kapoors international TV debut. He has also been penning the script for his next film. Certain about steering clear of any overlaps between Delhi Belly and his next film,Deo says his next film is a drama, which he intends to produce under his familys banner Ramesh Deo Productions. The production house will not only make Deos films but is also actively scouting for good scripts to back.

He made a debut with international model Candice Boucher opposite him in an action thriller,a genre that has worked at the box-office recently. What followed was self-created buzz and a grand premiere in Dubai. But nothing could save actor Sachiin Joshis film Azaan from tanking at the box-office. The actor, however, believes his performance won rave reviews and is back in not one but two new films. One is Soham Shahs Im Charles where he gets to play the famous conman Charles Sobhraj. And in the other,he plays a cop and opposite him is Mallika Jalebi bai Sherawat. Joshi is sure thinking ahead,if not the film,he may just get a hit item song.
