Kerala started their campaign on a winning note as they scored a solitary goal win over Uttar Pradesh in a group C encounter of the Coca-Cola U-15 sub-junior national football championship 2013 organised by Pune District Football Association (PDFA) and being played at DSK Ground in Loni.

Kerala started their campaign on a winning note as they scored a solitary goal win over Uttar Pradesh in a group C encounter of the Coca-Cola U-15 sub-junior national football championship 2013 organised by Pune District Football Association (PDFA) and being played at DSK Ground in Loni.

Mahin Hussain scored for Kerala in the 77th minute off a pass by Akshay Njoshy.

Uttar Pradesh missed three chances on goal with Akash Kumar missing twice and Tushar Chaudhari missing a gilt edged chance at the death.

In another group C encounter,Jharkhand and Meghalaya played out a goalless draw after both teams missed out on a couple of clear-cut chances.

Taj Uddin and Yuman Ankesh missed out for the Jharkhand team,while Kostarlan Lyngdoh and Obadata Bareh missed goals for the Meghalya team.
