St. Mary’s School,Pune,The Bishop’s School,Camp and Hutchings High School were the three Pune schools who made it to the semifinals of the Maharashtra Anglo-Indian ICSE Inter-School basketball tournament for girls. Bombay Scottish School,Mahim,completed the semi-final line-up.

Ruhi Kanakia and Prithvi Gaur helped St Mary’s School beat Bishop’s School,Undri 29-3 after leading 20-3 at the end of the second quarter.

Bombay Scottish made easy work of Barnes School,Devlali,winning 19-4. Anjali Narain and Deeya Parikh’s six points were the highlights of the match.

In a Group B league match,Hutchings High School edged past Bishop’s School with a score of 25-20 that helped them earn the coveted semifinal berth. Shreya Salian scored 15 points,while Sejal Khater extended a helping hand by scoring six points. However,the loss had no effect on Bishop’s qualification to the semifinals.
