Neil Nitin Mukesh is back after a hiatus with Aa Dekhen Zara,a romantic thriller

His one-year long absence finally concludes and with an assured presence for the next one year at least as Neil Nitin Mukesh is back with varied films set to release over the next few months. Beginning with Jehangir Surti’s- Aa Dekhen Zara that is set to release at the end of the month,Neil Nitin Mukesh was in the city promoting the film and also sang numbers from the film with the band ADZ – The Rising.

Having remained pretty dainty with his debut film,Neil Nitin Mukesh found the simplicity of Aa Dhekhen Zara appealing,as he adds,“Although a film that takes a peep into the future and has actions and surprise elements; it has been narrated in a very simple way. I am playing the character of a boy next door who is a struggling photographer until he obtains the power to see the future through a special camera. He uses it to solve his problems not realising that he is creating bigger problems in the process. So it’s a story of rags to riches and aptly as the title says, perceives the future. I have performed all crazy stunts myself like jumping freely from the ninth floor and shooting was a nice experience along with Bipasha Basu who is my love interest in the film.”

Neil Nitin Mukesh who has also sung the title track in the film however denies any professional inclination towards music saying,“I am passionate about it and moreover its deep association starts with my family. I have composed and played several instruments but the lack of professional training makes me not take it up. Acting is my ambition,thrillers- my preferred genre and I would like to carve my own niche and be identified as an actor and that’s one of the reason I chose to begin with a story like Johney Gaddar to clarify this to the people.”

Busy shooting and traveling, the actor has three more films lined up ahead. “You will see me in Madhur Bhandarkar’s- Jail,Sudhit Mishra’s- Tera Kya Hoga Johney and New York,an Abbas Mustan film which is also a thriller but for now it’s Aa Dekhen Zara,” he signs off.
