Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park and Wildlife Research Centre,Katraj,Pune is organising a three day Summer Camp on the occasion of International Biodiversity Day (May 22). This camp is free of cost and would be conducted for the students of age group between 15 to 25 years. The summer camp scheduled from May 21-23,will help in disseminating information on preservation of our precious biodiversity and changing mindsets of the students. During this training camp students would be exposed to various aspects of zoo management. Various topics like biodiversity and its components like birds,reptiles and mammals,legal aspects of wildlife conservation will be discussed. Hands on training on making of plaster casts and identification of pug marks,bird watching,and practical on nursery development,identification of various plant species,fun games and activities would also be a part of the camp.
