British Council and Maharashtra Prathamik Shikshan Parishad together celebrate the completion of one year of Maharashtra English Language Initiative for Primary Schools (ELIPS) Project. An award cermony will be conducted for this purpose on Tuesday at Bhave Prathamik Shala Sabhagruha,Sadashiv Peth. The aim is to improve the English speaking abilities of students all over Maharashtra. The ceremony will be attended by N K Jarag,Director,SCERT,Dinkar Patil,Joint Director,SCERT and Charlie Walker,Director-Programmes,British Council,India.

Ladies first

Tech Mahindra Group recently organized a women leadership conference at their office at Sharada center. Co-founder and managing director of Pune-based firm Pragati Leadership Institute Private Limited,Anuja Wakhlu,was speaker at the event,which was also attended by Anuja Sharma,senior quality consultant at Tech Mahindra. The discussion revolved around diversity,networking and women leadership at the senior hierarchy level. According to Wakhlu,the success mantra of women’s leadership depends on passion,self confidence,taking responsibilities,listening to the inner voice and believing in the Law of two hands,which says “If it is to be,it is up to me.”
