Exhorting students to discover the uniqueness in them, former President APJ Abdul Kalam on Monday said India has all capacity to make its youngsters great personalities.

In his address to students from different schools here, which was characterized by his trademark two-way communication, Kalam appealed youth to strive for more and more knowledge, which he said is an outcome of creativity, righteousness and courage.

“I would like to assert to youth that today they need not to fear about future. Think that you are unique and how you can become unique,” he said, stressing that education would give youngsters wings to fly.

Sharing success mantra for achievement, Kalam, a recipient of Bharat Ratna honour, asked students to aim high, acquire knowledge, do hard-work and show perseverance while walking on the path of dreams.

Narrating an anecdote of his interaction with a young student, who he said was keen for ‘singing the song of India’ that would be free from any social evil, Kalam said the country would become economically developed nation by 2020 and then every youngster would be able to sing ‘song of the country’.
