It was a rare sight to watch three veterans on the same platform. On Tuesday, actors Shriram Lagoo,Mohan Agashe and Dilip Prabhavalkar got together to promote their film,Masala ,at Deccan Rendezvous. Produced by Vishal Chordia of Praveen Masalewale and Arbhat Productions, the film is a take on the real-life struggles of founders of Praveen Masalewale,Hukumi Chandji Chordia. Agashe felt that working with Doctor saab ,as Lagoo is fondly called, has been one of the most memorable moments of his life. Though the veteran actors do not have a single scene together,Agashe said,It was surprising to see Doctor saab stay back after every shot and help perfect the film. Prabhavalkar added,The USP of Masala is the idea of combating negativity and living life with a positive attitude.” Lagoo has rendered a small, but significant, role of an attarwala in the film, while Prabhavalkar plays a scientist. The film is about pursuing something not for the sake of it,but with a passionate drive, said actor Umesh Kulkarni.
