Even as the district boasts of 99 per cent completion of the socio-economic survey, all the collectors and commissioners from across the state have been asked to survey areas which were earlier left out.
The district collectorate has prepared a list of 101 such areas, including defence areas and some parts of NDA,CRPF or National Disaster Response Force areas, which will now be surveyed.
We have been told to survey these areas. We will have to complete the work by September-end, said Pune District Collector Vikas Deshmukh.
The exercise involves rank-wise listing of urban and rural households where families are checked for various socio economic parameters including nature and type of residence, living
standards,assets,literacy levels and educational qualifications.
