Shirole leads BJP delegation to PMC, pushes for development projects

Shirole urged the civic administration to resolve the serious traffic problem of the city.

Newly elected MP Anil Shirole visited the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) headquarters to discuss pending issues with the union government for carrying out the infrastructure development of the city.

Shirole led the BJP delegation that comprised of party legislators Girish Bapat, Madhuri Misal and Bhimrao Tapkir, along with all the BJP corporators in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

In a press statement, the city BJP unit said Shirole wants to get the city in the list of ‘smart cities’ planned by the party.

The main idea was to push the development projects of the city.

The civic administration spoke about a proposal for seeking approval on the construction of a railway overbridge at Ghorpadi, a water treatment plant at Parvati, a flyover at the Lullanagar Metro Rail.

Shirole urged the civic administration to resolve the serious traffic problem of the city.

Shirole also gave the assurance that he would push the proposal for cleaning the Mutha-Mula river project and speeding up implementation of the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS).
