In view of the nation’s 67th Independence Day,security around military establishments will be enhanced during the latter half of August,said a press release from the Southern Command. Measures such as access control and random checking will be taken to negate any threat to vital military installations in and around Pune. During this period,the intent and endeavour of the Army will be to ensure safety and security without causing unnecessary inconvenience to the civilians,it added.
