Even as the seat-sharing talks in the saffron alliance are underway, party members have expressed concerned over issues regarding Kasba,Kothrud and Hadapsar Assembly seats.
Sources from the BJP said that discussions for 46 panels are over and the remaining 30 panels will be discussed on Friday.
The demand for seat-sharing initially was 104 for BJP,73 for Sena and 33 for RPI. The sub committees have decided seat-sharing and it was done after discussions with the respective party representatives, said a source from BJP.
Shiv Sena leader Neelam Gorhe, who will be attending the meeting on Friday, said some of the issues will be sorted out during Fridays discussions. All the senior leaders of BJP and Shiv Sena will meet on Friday evening to come out with a seat-sharing formula for the remaining 30 panels. There are a lot of issues that need to be sorted out, she said. Sources from Sena said that while deciding on the 46 panels,a lot of differences came to the fore. We feel that RPI is not being given the number of seats it deserves. Also BJP is trying show their claim on the seats which have sitting Shiv Sena corporators. It is not true that we did not get back to them. There must have been some communication gap, said a source.
