When Judas Priest sang Ridin’ on the wind,he captured the very essence of biking — the wind in your face, the rush of power and adrenaline and the million sights that riding can bring to you. Over 150 riders are going to live Judas Priest’s words during the second edition of Western Harley Owners’ Group (HOG) Ride, from April 12 to 14. On the heels of the first national HOG rally, this will be the second Western edition, which will take riders on a 175-km route from Mumbai to Sula Vineyards in Nashik. Riders from Kolkata,Ahmedabad and Bangalore are expected to turn up for the rally. The three-day ride will not only give them an opportunity to view the scenic vineyards and sample the legendary Sula wines, but will also give them a chance to interact with fellow Harley owners. “I am excited about the prospect of riding with other HOG’s for the first time. I’m eagerly waiting to enjoy the music and the Harley lifestyle,” says Vikrant Ghotze,a rider from Pune. Wasim Shaikh, another Pune rider,is also looking forward to the experience,“I will enjoy the ride to Nashik and relax at the Sula wine yards with other HOGs.”
