Corner Pockets Champs and SK’s Six Pockets Professionals entered quarterfinals in the 12th edition of the PYC-ATC Snooker Championship at PYC Hindu Gymkhana on Tuesday. Corner Pockets ousted BSSA Shooters (3-0), while SK’s Six Pockets Professionals earned a 2-1 victory over Ball Breakers.

In Corner Pockets Champs, Abhimanyu Gandhi took 2-0 lead against Salman Mohammed. BSSA’s Rohan Kothare conceded after playing two frames against Nitesh Madan of Corner Pockets. Siddharth Tembe of SK’s Six Pockets beat Piyush Khuswah of Ball Breakers to take an early lead in the second pre quarter-final. Breakers’ cueist Mohamed Hussain Khan beat Akash Padalikar 2-all. Then, Liyakat Shaikh of SK’s beatPriyank Jaiswal to win the challenge 2-1.
