The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Saturday sealed the Orchid hotel, owned by Vithal Kamat group, in Balewadi as the management failed to clear the property tax dues of Rs 16 crore. PMC spokesperson Sanjay More said the civic property department took action as part of its drive against tax defaulters. The Orchid hotel has failed to clear its dues over the last five years amounting to Rs 16 crore.
