Pune FC will kickstart their I-League 2013-14 campaign away from home for the first time since the city-clubs entry into Indian footballs elite divsion. Pune FC will take on Mohammedan Sporting at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan,Kolkata on September 21,marking their first game of the season. It will also be the first time Pune FC plays Mohammedan Sporting.
Pune FC will then head north-east to take on Shillong Lajong (September 28) and then return to Kolkata to play East Bengal (October 5) the following week to complete a three-match away campaign.
Pune FCs will see take on the might Mohun Bagan at the Balewadi sports complex on October 10.
The Bagan game kicks off a home-game stretch during which Pune FC will host Churchill Brothers on October 19 and Rangdajied United on October 27.
November will take Pune FC to Goa three times to play Sporting Clube de Goa on November 1,Salgaocar FC on November 24 and Dempo SC on November 27. In the middle,a home game against I-League debutants,Bengaluru FC has been scheduled for November 6.
A total of six matches have been lined up for December. Starting with two home games,one each against United SC (December 1) and Mumbai FC (December 7),Pune FC travel east to begin the second leg of their campaign against Rangdajied United (December 11). Next up is United SC (December 15) and Mohun Bagan (December 21).
The first phase of the league ends in the last week of December with Pune FC hosting Sporting Clube de Goa (December 26) in their last game of the year.
When the league resumes in April after a three month break,Pune FC will take on Mumbai FC (April 12) in an away match before hosting Shillong Lajong FC (April 16) and Mohammedan Sporting (April 20). The month ends with an away trip to Churchill Brothers (April 26).
The last month of the league will see Pune FC heading to play Bengaluru FC (May 1) before ending the league with three consecutive home games against Salgaocar FC (May 4),East Bengal (May 10) and Dempo SC.
