PUNE city police have registered an offence in connection to a case of alleged land grabbing in Kondhwa against Deepak alias Baba Misal, the brother-in-law of BJP MLA Madhuri Misal. An FIR was registered by one Amzad Badgujar (46), a resident of Kondhwa Khurd.
As per his complaint, Badgujar and his family have a property development firm, which had purchased a land of 3,700 square metres in Mohammadi in 2014. A compound wall was built around the property.

Misal owns a piece of land next to Badgujar’s property, police said. As per the FIR, Misal allegedly broke the compound wall, fencing and watchman’s cabin and put a board of ‘Misal Properties’ on the land on April 18. Police have booked Misal under sections 447 (punishment for criminal trespass) and 427 (causing damage) of IPC.
