NDA hosts visitors from abroad

A 12-member delegation led by Major General Craig William Orme,Commandant,Australian Defence College visited the National Defence Academy,Khadakwasla,on Thursday.

A 12-member delegation led by Major General Craig William Orme,Commandant,Australian Defence College visited the National Defence Academy (NDA),Khadakwasla,on Thursday. The delegation comprised student officers from Australia,Vietnam,Singapore,Indonesia and New Zealand,an NDA press release said. The delegation was received by Rear Admiral Anand Iyer,VSM,Officiating Commandant of NDA and briefed on various aspects of training at the NDA. Interacting with the visitors,Iyer said it is essential for all progressive institutions to look outward and absorb trends and practices as applicable in their context from at similar institutions. Such visits would be helpful in this direction,said Iyer who hosted a luncheon in honour of the delegation.
