Ahead of navaratri celebrations, members of the Chaturshringi Devsthan Trust and the Chaturshringi Seva Samiti announced several novel introductions to the temple premises.

Last year, one of the highlights of the festivities had been the offering of flowers from a flying helicopter, right before the procession on Dussehra. This year too,the helicopter will make a an appearance on Dussehra.

LED televisions will air live images of the deity so that waiting devotees may begin their darshan from the entrance of the temple premises.

Speakers have been placed throughout the premises and will remain at the temple through the year, serving both as a public announcement system,as well as a way to play devotional sings for visitors. During the festival,a special FM channel will be run by the Trust in the speakers, with announcements for the public,as well as devotional song requests by devotees.

The trust had earlier announced plans to install a ropeway to the temple at the summit of the Chaturshringi Hill. While the ropeway plans are still awaiting approval, the trust is now considering installing escalators instead. The trust had also planned to soon make the temple premises a wifi-enabled spot.

Security has been tightened with 18 CCTVs,while a fire brigade, ambulance and doctor squad will be on call throughout the festival.
