Watch three professional chefs sweat it out in kitchen,as they compete at a cook-off in the city on April 14. Chefs Vicky Ratnani,Ajay Chopra and Mayank Tiwari will attempt to win the hearts of their audience with the best impromptu dishes. Each will have 15 minutes to pick his ingredients and put together a quick but delicious gourmet item for the audience at Godrej Nature’s Basket.

Wines of Change

Experience true indulgence with Tuscan wines at The Flour Works on April 12,where connoisseur Sujata Patil will take the participants through an evening of wine-tasting and food-pairing,with special Italian food. Patil will take the session through Montepulciano,Brunello,Chianti and Rome and give a glimpse into the beauty of the Tuscan vineyards and wineries. Jointly hosted by The Flour Works,Black Swan and GrapeWine,the event will take place from 7.30 pm onwards.

Casablanca at Shivaji Nagar is hosting a kebab and biryani festival,Daawat-E-Kebab,till April 19. Patrons can start with delectable kebabs such as Charminar kebab and Akbari paneer tikka and make their way through Matka biryani,Chimun biryani and more,in a true gastronomic journey to the land of nawabs.

Learn the secrets of cooking Mexican,Continental and contemporary Indian food from Chef Shailendra Kekade,as he gives a live demonstration at Inorbit Mall on Sunday. In collaboration with Wonderchef Home Appliances and HomeStop,Kekade,the executive chef at Stone Water Grill,will give tips and techniques to churn out perfect recipes. The workshop begins at 5 pm and will continue till 7 pm.

    My second event at Black Swan. , these guys seem to know what they do. Their food and tasting events are well organised
