Mangal emerges hero for Nannaware Cricket Foundation

The pairings of Aniruth Mangal-Nikhil Mishra and Aman Mulla-Yash Tunge helped Nannaware Cricket Foundation and Rajmata Jijau Krida Pratisthan score easy wins in low-scoring matches in the Influx Cricket Cup Under-12 tournament at the ILS Law College Ground.

Losing the toss worked well for Nannaware Foundation as they restricted Ranjane Cricket Academy to 107 for four in the allotted 20 overs with only Mudassir Pansare (32) and Kshitij Patil (21) getting some runs for their team.

In reply,Aniruth Mangal scored an unbeaten 31 in 36 balls with one four,while Nihkil Mishra remained unbeaten on 19. Mukund Gaikwad’s cameo run-a-ball 22 helped Nannaware Cricket Foundation overhaul the target in 16.2 overs.

In the first match of the day,Aman Mulla smashed a 23-ball 26 with three fours as Rajmata Jijau Krida Pratishthan beat SKF Cricket Academy by eight wickets.

Electing to bat,SKF Cricket Academy were restricted to 90 for 7 with Yash Jadhav (14),Vishwambhar Kolhatikar (14) and Totaram Jadhav (16) being among the runs.

Mulla found an able ally in Yash Tunge (23 not out-51b) as the two saw no more damage was done after two wickets had fallen early on.
