My last memorable meal was a few weeks ago at my favourite restaurant in the world,Nobu,London. It is known the world over for its fantastic Japanese cuisine. Nobu is like a very cool bar with great music and a buzzing atmosphere. Its very chilled out and a perfect place to go for a few drinks and dinner before heading out clubbing. Its dimly lit with small tables and a long bar on one side.
I had a Peach Bellini, followed by Edamame and shitake mushroom salad. Next up was a Rock Shrimp Tempura with creamy spicy sauce. The piece de resisitance for me is always the eaterys Black Cod with miso. Like with Indian food, the best part about ordering Japanese food is that you can order a few things and share so that way you experience a multitude of flavours and textures, which is what a great meal is all about. My dessert was a Chocolate fondant with Green tea ice-cream. The minute you cut through the fondant, the hot chocolate liquid comes pouring out like a waterfall and it tastes divine. Green tea ice-cream is highly unusual but works really well with the chocolate. I went with someone cute, funny and a complete foodie.
