Free H1N1 vaccination of 15,000 children

In a bid to contain the resurgence of the H1N1 epidemic,Samrajya Prathistan,a not for profit organisation will vaccinate 15,000 schoolchildren free of cost on Monday.

In a bid to contain the resurgence of the H1N1 epidemic,Samrajya Prathistan,a not for profit organisation will vaccinate 15,000 schoolchildren free of cost on Monday.

Children from Sadhnya Vidhyalay,Hadapsar,will be vaccinated on July 19. In all,30 doctors have been enrolled to assist in the vaccination programme that the Samraja Pratjhistan aims to undertake where 50,000 children from rural and semi rural areas will be given protection from the H1N1 virus.

This initiative is supported by Serum Institute of India that have provided the vaccines at reduced rates. The chief guest at this health initiative will be Rambhau Tupe,freedom fighter and vice-chairman of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.
