Trishala Shah,21,is a new talent to watch out for as she has grabbed the lead role in Sanjeev Naik’s upcoming Marathi film Khara Sangu Khota Khota, which is due for release on December 20. “I love the camera,” says Shah, who has previously acted in a number of Hindi and Marathi serials such as Hya Gojirvanya Gharat,Main Laxmi Tere Aangan Ki,Don Kinare Doghi Aapan and Bandh Reshmache. Born and brought up in Pune,Shah is currently pursuing graduation from Pune’s Symbiosis Institute. She has been acting since the age of 17 and loves reading books and giving competitive exams. “It is challenging to balance acting and studies, but I’m grateful to all the support I have from the college and my parents,” says Shah, adding that studies have always been a priority in her life. About the transition from small screen to big screen she says,“Acting in films is more challenging, you need to pay attention to every minute detail as everything is magnified on the large screen. I’ve decided to take things slowly and wait for the right script.” She is currently working on two projects,a Bollywood and a Tollywood film.
