With the evaluation process for the Class X state board exams over,officials of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) said that post-evaluation process has already begun and results will be out by the second week of June.
Incidentally,the evaluation process for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam had been delayed due to teachers strike.
There had been a 21-day delay in the evaluation process due to the strike called by teachers. But we are trying our level best to declare the results fast. The teachers have also put in extra hours to complete the work. We have not brought in any temporary examiners for the purpose,because we understand that this is the most crucial exam in a students life, said a state board official. We expect to declare the results by the second week of June,though we will definitely try to bring them out before that, said the official. As reported earlier,Class XII results will be out by the last week of May.
In all,17,40,290 students from across 20,507 schools had appeared for the exam. The exam was held at 3,812 centres. According to the state board official,several changes in the evaluation process has also rendered the process more tedious.
There have been several modifications in the post-evaluation process. Even the teachers need time to get adjusted. But we will try to make sure the results are out by the second week of June , said the official. As far as the Class XII results are concerned,we are still compiling them. They are coming in from nine separate divisions and not all of these divisions respond at the same time. We expect to declare the results by the last week of May, added the official.
When contacted,MSBSHSE chairman Sarjerav Jadhav said,We are in the last stage of compiling the Class XII results. As for the Class X results,post-evaluation work is on and we expect to declare the results by the second week of June.
