Dada Vaswani’s 98th birthday celebrations to be held

The institutions of Sadhu Vaswani Mission are running special programmes on the occasion.

City-based spiritual leader Dada JP Vaswani’s 98th birthday on August 2 would be marked by five-day long celebrations from July 29 to August 2 at Sadhu Vaswani Mission. The celebrations include a 98-hour yagna, prayers, talks and a forgiveness session titled ‘The Moment of Calm’. The celebrations are themed on ‘Lighting Lives with Love’.

Highlights of the celebrations are a 98-hour continuous group chanting of ‘Maha Mritunjaya Yagna Mahotsav’; Dada Mela, an elaborate fun-fair organised for orphans, blind, handicapped, disabled and needy; talks and interactions by Dada Vaswani; ‘SOS… Save Our Souls’, a play by Bridge Builders, the youth wing of Sadhu Vaswani Mission; performance by singer Kajaal Chandiramani; and a forgiveness session led by Dada Vaswani at 2 pm.

The institutions of Sadhu Vaswani Mission are running special programmes on the occasion. The Fabiani & Budhrani Heart Institute would organise a special cardiac camp from July 27 to August 2 with free angiography for the first 100 needy patients, free cardiac consultation, free ECGs, concessions on cardiac investigations, and packages for angioplasty and bypass surgery.

Inlaks & Budhrani Hospital and Morbai Nariandas Budhrani Cancer Institute would conduct a free medical consultation camp from July 27 to August 2 for all specialties with 50 per cent concessions on all in-house investigations and surgeries in the general ward. Additionally, artificial limbs would be distributed on August 2.
