Two craftspeople groups — Disha and Sandur Kushala Kala Kendra (SKKK) — will display their works at Dastakar crafts bazaar at Tilak Smarak Mandir, Tilak Road, from October 1 to October 9. The bazaar will be open from 11 am to 8 pm. Disha helps women of the shekhavati area to earn their living through their skilful craft of tying/knotting bandhani textiles. It markets their range of Bandhani & Shibori sarees, dupattas, stoles and yardage. SKKK works with the lambani tribals from Karnataka who are living on the fringes of traditional Indian society and deals in soft furnishings, garments, accessories and jewellery.
