Constable recruitment: Disqualified candidate tries to re-appear,held

The Wanavdi police have arrested a man who tried to appear for the recruitment process of police constables on Monday in the name of another candidate,after being disqualified once earlier.

The Wanavdi police have arrested a man who tried to appear for the recruitment process of police constables on Monday in the name of another candidate,after being disqualified once earlier. The recruitment process is on at the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) ground in Wanavdi. Police said Nitin Mohan Chavan (26) of Wasai Road,Thane,was disqualified on February 25,but he appeared for the recruitment process again on March 4,by tampering with the application form of another candidate,Sudhir Narkar. Sub-Inspector Chandrakant Jagalpure lodged a complaint of cheating against Chavan at the Wanavdi police station.
