Cheif Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Tuesday assured industry stakeholders of Pune that he will look into the problems they face while doing business in Hinjewadi industrial area. Chavan told the business leaders that an international traffic consultancy will be appointed to look into the issues.
The Chief Minister met members of Hinjewadi Industries Association (HIA) at Infosys phase-II and lent an ear to their various demands. He assured that a feedback on Information technology policy will be taken into account while making changes.
Mritunjay Kumar Singh,president,HIA,said the association took up many issues that industries in the Hinjewadi area face. He said apart from traffic problems,the Chief Minister has taken note of other issues like shortage of infrastructure and has asked the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation to fix a meeting of different departments to work on a solution.
