Checklist for Class XI centralised admissions to be available online

In a first-of-its-kind move in Maharashtra,the centralised admission committee of Class XI is going to publish online checklist of students who applied for Class XI admissions. The committee will bring out the final merit list on July 15.

In a first-of-its-kind move in Maharashtra,the centralised admission committee of Class XI is going to publish online checklist of students who applied for Class XI admissions. The committee will bring out the final merit list on July 15.

The checklist of all streams will be published on http://www.dydepune.com. Students have to key in the application number to gain access to the website.

Students can go through the website and submit grievances at any of the four centres — Abasaheb Garware College,Karve Road,Shri Mhalsakant Vidyalaya,Akurdi,Shinde Sadhana High School,Hadapsar and Ness Wadia College. Education Deputy Director (Pune division) Suman Shinde said,“If students find spelling mistakes,change in name,wrong date of birth,change in category,they can submit their objections in any of the four centres between 11 am and 5 pm.”

The checklist of Arts stream (English medium) will be published on June 28 and students can submit objections on June 29.

For Arts (Marathi),the online list will be published on June 30 and students can file objections on July 2 and July 3.

For Commerce (Marathi),the list will be made available on July 3 and objections will be accepted on July 4 and 5. For commerce (English),list will be published on July 5 and objections on it will be accepted on July 6 and July 8.

On July 7 the checklist of science stream will be publish and July 8-July 10 are the dates to submit objections on it. According to the final merit list,Class XI admissions will be held between July 16 and July 19 from 10 am to 5pm. The colleges will reopen on July 22 instead of August 1 as per the new schedule.

The state board has introduced the option of reevaluation for Class X.

When asked if the students get reevaluation result after July 15,Shinde said,“If any student finds that his or her marks has increased after reevaluation and if he or she submits the marksheet prior to July 15,we will incorporate the changes in final merit list. If he or she gets reevaluation result after July 15,even then the concerned student will get admission to the junior college he deserves according to his new marksheet.”

Till now,1,047 admissions for Bi focal stream has been done.
