CBSE students can dial toll free number 1800 118 004 from any part of the country to get centralised access to the boards tele-helpline till June 10.
While the general queries will be answered by the operators,students can connect to the principals or counsellors in case of result-related anxiety or stress,an official release said.
This year,45 principals,trained counsellors from CBSE affiliated government and private schools and a few psychologists will be available for tele-counselling. As many as 37 counsellors are available in India while eight are located in Japan,Kuwait,Doha-Qatar,Saudi Arabia,UAE and Sultanate of Oman.
This year too,CBSE has arranged counselling facility for specially-abled children to address to their anxiety after the results. Techniques to cope with result related anxiety are also mentioned at the CBSE website.
Meanwhile,CBSE has announced July 16 for first chance compartmental examination. Regular candidates will have to route their requests through the Head of institution. The Institutions have been asked to ensure that the list of compartmental candidate reaches the respective regional offices by June 21 or with a late fine of Rs 10/-per day added to the fee latest by June 29.
Verification of marks
The CBSE has made available the forms for verification of marks on its website http://www.cbse.nic.in
The fee will be Rs 300/- per subject. Application can be made either online from sixth day or offline within 21 days from the date of declaration of result.
The fee will be Rs 200 per subject. Fee can be
remitted either in cash or through demand draft favoring Secretary,Central Board of Secondary
Education payable at the respective regional offices,CBSE has said.
