Bajaj Auto Ltd,the distributor of Kawasaki,Wednesday launched Ninja 300. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is priced at Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Ninja 300 replaces the Kawasaki 250R.
Realising the potential of the Indian market,Kawasaki is looking to ramp up the production of Ninja 300,which will be imported and sold under Bajaj Autos Probiking showroom network.
Rajiv Bajaj,MD,Bajaj Auto,said the Kawasaki and Bajaj partnership was the longest relationship in the auto sector.
Bajaj sells Kawasaki bikes in India and Kawasaki will be selling Bajaj motorcycles in some of the major markets. After Philippines,Bajaj Auto and Kawasaki will soon launch Bajajs Pulsar NS in the Indonesian markets. Kawasaki is also planning more launches in the Indian market through Bajaj Auto.
We will introduce more Kawasaki bikes, Yuji Horiuchi,representative,India Kawasaki Motors said. Kawasaki has sold 3,000 motorbikes till date in India. Kawasaki has incorporated additional features in the Ninja and will be available in the trademark Kawasaki green and pearl stardust white colours,Horiuchi said. Bookings for the Ninja 300 cc bike have begun. At present,Bajaj has 71 Probiking showrooms,which it plans to ramp up to 80.
