71-year-old killed in Pune, two gold bangles, gold chain of the deceased missing

A 71-year-old woman who lived alone in a flat on Dhanori Road was found murdered on Saturday night with her throat slit. Police suspect the involvement of persons known to her.

The deceased has been identified as Radha Madhavan Nair, a resident of a society on Dhanori Road in Pune. She is survived by her son and daughter.
Police said that Nair had asked for milk from a nearby shop in the afternoon to make tea for “some guests”. Police have found two tea cups in the living room. Two gold bangles of the deceased and a gold chain were missing.
