7 hurt as bus flips over at Pune-Mumbai e-way

As per the information given by State Highway Patrol, the bus with registration number MH-14-CW-8399 was on its way to Mumbai with at least 20 passengers.

SEVEN persons were seriously injured while seven others sustained minor injuries after the private bus they were traveling in turned on its side near Borghat on Pune-Mumbai Expressway on Sunday afternoon.

As per the information given by State Highway Patrol, the bus with registration number MH-14-CW-8399 was on its way to Mumbai with at least 20 passengers.

When the bus came to the downward slope at Anda Point at Borghat around 3 pm, the driver lost control of the bus. Due to high speed, the bus turned on its side, seriously injuring seven of the passengers. Seven more sustained minor injuries. The injured were immediately rushed to Lokmanya Hospital in Nigdi, where they were treated and were all said to be out of danger.
