5 minors nabbed for two-wheeler theft

The Pune police have nabbed five boys,all students of class X and XI,for allegedly stealing two wheelers for joy rides.

The Pune police have nabbed five boys,all students of class X and XI,for allegedly stealing two wheelers for joy rides. Police have recovered 10 two-wheelers from them.

During patrolling,a team of Sahkarnagar police led by assistant sub inspector Jaleel Kazi nabbed the five boys on three two-wheelers on suspicion near Ahilyadevi school on Friday.

During interrogation,the boys admitted that they have been stealing two wheelers from different parts of the city. Police said they parked the two-wheelers near their house,and rode them to colleges. The vehicles were stolen from the jurisdiction of Bharati Vidyapeeth police station and Pune rural police. Senior inspector Kamlakar Takawale is investigating the case.
