Following plaints of anti-party activities on the Panjab University campus during the election days, Congress chief Pardeep Chhabra has recommended suspension of Birender Dhillon, a youth Congress leader to high command. Chhabra said there had been reports of Dhillon supporting the rival party. “ We got to know that Dhillon was extending his support to NSUI Student front in the PU elections following which we sent the recommendation for his suspension,” Chhabra said. Dhillon denied such reports. “ I have not been to the university for any kind of election activity this year.”
