Water cut in eastern suburbs on April 3 & 4

Parts of eastern suburbs and south central Mumbai will face a water cut on April 3 and 4 due to the replacement work of old Tansa pipelines.

Parts of eastern suburbs and south central Mumbai will face a water cut on April 3 and 4 due to the replacement work of old Tansa pipelines.

The hydraulic engineering department of the BMC will undertake the work of replacing a section of old pipelines on the 80-year-old Tansa pipeline networks owing to which there will be no water in certain areas in the city on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The areas that will face a water cut between 4 am on Tuesday and 10 am on Wednesday include areas near the Eastern Express Highway in Kurla,Suman Nagar,Kurla East.

Meanwhile,the areas that will face a water cut between 4 am on Wednesday and 10 am on Thursday and will include places such as Tilak nagar,Thakkar Bappa Colony,Shell Colony,Shastri Nagar,Sahakar Nagar,Sion East and West,Dadar West,Kidwai road in Wadala,Lalbaug and Parel areas.
