‘Fill vacant health posts in  rural areas’

The state government Wednesday ordered the district administrations to fill all vacant posts to strengthen the health sector in rural Maharashtra. CM Devendra Fadnavis indicated that higher healthcare expenses can be one of the reasons driving farmers to debt in the suicide-prone 14 districts. Along with filling of all vacant posts, the government has decided to replace some of the 125 services unavailed under Rajiv Gandhi Health Mission with those which would bring relief to the poor and needy.
