Ansh Sport Club produced a determined performance to eke out a crucial 1-0 win against Nihar Educational Trust in a Third Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) League at the St. Xavier’s ground,Parel,on Tuesday. Engaged in a stiff battle for supremacy,Ansh managed to steal the lone winning goal through Adil Lakhdawala.

Meanwhile,in another match of the same division,Worli Football Club stamped the authority as they scored a comfortable 3-1 win over United Mumbaitees. Parth Mhatre,Raghavan N. and Sanket Gawde hit the target for the Worli side,while Prathamesh Sawant netted the lone goal for the losers.
