A rail fracture on the up-line between Mankhurd and Govandi on Harbour line was detected by the Signal & Telecommunication department after signals between the two places failed repeatedly.

While a train from Belapur to CST crossed the affected rail,an up-train from Bandra was held up from 6.59 am to 7.35 am between Mankhurd and Govandi, while the line was being rectified.
