Prove you are unemployed, court tells man

The court has directed the man to produce his bank statements.

Based on his “branded clothes” and accessories, a Family Court directed a man, to furnish documents to support his claims of being unemployed. The court was hearing a matrimonial dispute between the man and wife, where the husband has claimed maintenance claiming  he is unemployed.The application, filed by the husband, was in response to the wife’s plea seeking the same.In its observations, earlier this week, judge P L Palsingankar, said, “Gentleman who is standing in front of me is flashing branded clothes, latest watch on his wrist and fancy spectacles.” The court has directed the man to produce his bank statements.
