Mumbai Police have recorded actor Aamir Khans statement as a witness in a road accident case where an 83-year-old was fatally knocked down allegedly by an underage driver in suburban Khar.We have recorded the statement of Aamir Khan and other three witnesses in the accident case in which a senior citizen was knocked down. Further investigation is on, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Niket Kaushik. Asked if the Bollywood star agreed to testify in the trial,he said,Aamir has not made any further commitments.
On January 3,15-year-old son of a carpenter took his fathers bike for an early morning joyride and allegedly knocked down Moti Jhangiani at Linking Road. Jhangiani later succumbed to his injuries.
