Four years ago,the inaugural edition of Bacardi NH7 Weekender, organised by the music promotion company,Only Much Louder, was held in Pune. The event saw close to 10,000 attendees over three days, and international names included two British bands — indie rock act The Magic Numbers and electronica act Asian Dub Foundation. Hugely successful, the festival then expanded a significant amount over the next two years and last year,Delhi and Bangalore were added to the list of cities it was held in.

As dates were announced for this year’s editions, the biggest news was the expansion to a fourth city — Kolkata. Over the last week, there has been speculation over which this fourth city would be.

Dates for this year are out: Pune from October 18 to 20,Bangalore on November 23 and 24,Delhi on November 30 and December 1,and Kolkata on December 14 and 15. Venues, tickets and line ups will follow soon. Watch this space for more.
