A day after three Railway Protection Force personnel were booked for allegedly raping a 23-year-old woman at an RPF outpost in Diva, the woman and a journalist were arrested for demanding a bribe to withdraw the complaint.

The Mumbra Police, which registered a case of rape, recorded a conversation the woman and journalist Mohan Bitale purportedly had with the three RPF men, Mahendra Singh Bhagel, BK Singh and PK Singh at Dwarka Hotel in Dombivli Friday. The police claim Bitale approached the woman to settle the matter.
