Mumbai: Man pushed off terrace during raid, critical

The victim is in the ICU of Wockhardt Hospital in Mumbai Central.

A man is in a critical condition after he was allegedly pushed off a terrace Thursday when a team led by the Social Service Branch of the Mumbai Police was conducting a raid on a brothel in Noor Mohammed building in Grant Road area. Locals gathered at the site alleged that Kumar Shiwanna Gauda (31) was pushed by one Prasadi Dhalu Mandal (29) as the former was suspected to be an informer of the Social Service Branch.

The victim is in the ICU of Wockhardt Hospital in Mumbai Central. “The victim fell into the next building and was brought to hospital by Rudresh Gauda. We have already taken his statement and filed a panchnama,” said an officer from the D B Marg police station.
