Lifeguards at Aksa beach save 2 from drowning

A local resident said the two boys had been warned thrice against going deep into the sea since it was high tide, but they did not listen.

Lifeguards at Aksa beach Sunday saved two 16-year-old boys from drowning. Faiyaz Shaikh and Abraz Shaikh, both residents of Malvani, had ventured into the sea when they were pulled in by the current. As they shouted for help, lifeguards Sachin Mullick, Nathuram Suryavanshi and Pritam Koli spotted them and jumped into the sea to rescue them.
